Can I download the ebook from B&N site to my NOOK via WIFI in China?
I recently asked one of my friends to purchase a NOOK ebook reader from US, and he will take it back to China and give to me.
Before I have it, i’d like to know if I can download the ebook on B&N sites via WIFI in China? or the books can be only downloaded in US, not yet supported in other countries.

The books can only be downloaded within U.S., so you better ask your friend to purchase the books in U.S. first before bringing it to you.
Indeed, the Amazon Kindle has much better international support, and you’ll be able to download books to the Kindle even you’re not inside the U.S. I’ve given a detailed comparison between the Nook and the Kindle previously, in another answer here. Guess it’ll help you decide which one to choose:
