Looks like there are a few eReaders on the market such as the Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader, but which eBook Reader or eReader should I buy?

I want to get a dedicated eBook reader. Must be able to do normal pdf files or at least come with software to convert to whatever format it displays. Sorry I meant a piece of hardware.

I’d like to purchase ebook reader. But I don’t know exactly which one supports pdf files as I collected 100s of books from internet. If anyone knows the best please provide information.

I am an avid reader and really would like to buy an ebook reader, because it will make things easier, because i like 300+ page books. and they can be a pain to lug around. so which is the best ereader out there?
